I love to wear a pretty mauve-nude color on my lips. It’s soft and romantic–perfect for Spring. Here are my top five lipsticks:
Meet Matt(e) Hughes Lip Color in Sincere
Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Rose
Pure Matte Lipstick in Montego Bay
Rouge Double Intensité Ultra Wear Lip Colour in Light Rose
Gen Nude Radiant Lipstick in Crave
All of these lipsticks have a great formula–easy to apply, lightweight, and long lasting. What more could you want in a lipstick?
I know it’s only April, but the warmer weather has got me thinking about beach days and lake trips! Every Spring I like to make sure my swimsuit collection is ready for Summer. I’m attracted to vintage pieces that are supportive and comfortable. ModCloth has a variety of options to choose from. Here are a few of my favorite swimsuits from their line:
Chilling by the Cove
Sass on the Beach
Beachy as ABC
Coastline Icon
Haute in the Hamptons
The long days and warm weather has me wanting to upgrade my dress selection. Check out a few styles I’m loving right now:
“I’m a multidimensional person and that’s the freedom of fashion: that you’re able to reinvent yourself through how you dress and how you cut your hair or whatever.” -Emma Watson
Now that spring is here, it’s finally time to pull out those sandals, wedges, and flats! Check out a few of my favorite spring shoes this season:
“How can you live the high life if you do not wear the high heels?” —Sonia Rykiel
Spring is finally here! I’ve always felt that I gravitate towards Spring looks more than any other season. For me, Spring means cropped jeans, lace shirts, and playful heels.
These high-rise straight-leg jeans by Guess are definitely a denim staple. You can wear them with a t-shirt and a pair of Keds on a lazy Sunday, or dress them up with heels and a fancy top for date night!
I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with my style. Taking fashion risks is one of the few things in life that don’t scare me. Rather than play it safe with a simple top that didn’t compete for the spotlight next to these statement jeans, I went with this eye catching top by Forever21. And luckily, they ended up complementing each other nicely.
I finalized the look with these Ziginy Mid Pump heels. There is something so classic and “Audrey-esque” about round toe mid pumps–they tie a look together effortlessly.
“In winter, I plot and plan. In spring, I move.” -Henry Rollins
The short sleeve button down is my favorite top for Spring!
It’s a modern take on the 1960s Mad Men style short sleeve dress shirt. But with a loose fit, it’s more romantic and effortless. This timeless piece is a must-have wardrobe staple.
Here are a few shirts I love:
Our favorite place to get coffee in the Sunset is at Andytown. At one point, I think we were going there religiously once a week. From the atmosphere to the coffee, this place is is great if you are ever visiting San Francisco.
2 Snowy Plovers (Pellegrino+espresso+whipped cream=perfection) & 1 Cappuccino
Strawberry Corn Muffin & Vegetable Pastry
Even on a foggy day, the Snowy Plover is a must. Once you try it, you’ll crave it.
For coffee runs, I usually wear a variation of this outfit:
“San Francisco is a city where people are never more abroad than when they are at home.” -Benjamin F. Taylor
As I have expressed before, my favorite color for this Season is Pink. Whether it be a bright shade, or a more neutral one, I love how the cheerful color can make any Spring outfit pop. I especially love a Pink shoe. Here are a few of my favorite tones and styles:
“Anything is possible with sunshine and a little pink.” -Lilly Pulitzer
It’s no secret that Flares are on trend again. I was pretty apprehensive at first. I didn’t think Flares could be flattering. After some research, however, I have learned that depending on the fit, wash, and style, Flares can do quite the contrary.
If you’re frame is petite, try a Cropped Flare:
Otherwise, make sure your Flares are High-Rise:
Keep your outfit simple:
Add a heel:
Play with different washes/colors:
