Finding flattering evening wear can be difficult…

It’s easy to say, “Oh, I LOVE that dress!” when we see that dress on a model .

After many years of losing confidence over an outfit that wasn’t suitable to my particular body shape, I have come to terms with the obvious & not-so-obvious fact that things will look different on me than they do on the model.

Some things will look better on the model, but some things will look better on me.

This is the beauty of being born as our own unique and wonderful beings!

For instance, in the wrong color, I can look like a ghost. I may like a bright, yellow dress that I see on a tan model in a magazine, but on me it would look hideous!
